Initially, my friend wanted to purchase the program from a retail store, but after contacting some of the larger retailers such as Walmart, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, he was told this wasn't available in stores. After speaking with him, I did a search online and confirmed what he had researched. It appears that this program is only available by way of the TV infomercial, or major online retailers. I found that Amazon.com to be one of the best locations where discounted pricing, product package deals, and shipping discounts can be found.

My friend is about 30 days into the P90X program, and is quite excited, He's already begun seeing results - pretty cool! His enthusiasm and excitement is addicting. He's noted that he's lost about 11 pounds and now looks forward to each workout - initially it was hard for him since he was quite overweight and hadn't exercised too much in the past. My friend also noted that the nutrition guide included with the course took a little getting used to, but again this is coming from a guy who practically lived off of fast food restaurants - Kentucky Fried Chicken and Burger King.

Are you the parent of a child or teenager who will be playing youth soccer? If so, you might be dreading the costs associated with the sport a bit. In addition to fees for younger youth soccer associations, you will likely to need to buy cleats, shorts, and shin guards for your child. You might even need to purchase a practice soccer ball. While individually these costs are not huge, they do add up overtime. If you are on a strict budget, here are some money saving tips that can help your child get the soccer supplies and equipment they need.

Coupons and Store Sales: My daughter plays youth soccer and is in the first grade. Her soccer coach provided us a link to a printable coupon for Dick's Sporting Goods. See if your local soccer organization can gain you access to these types of coupons. If not, it is within your best interest to check local store ads for money saving deals. Typically sales happen a month or two before that sport season starts. For that reason, the end of summer tends to present the best deals for soccer.

Craigslist and Other Classified Websites: The thing about youth sports is that you are dealing with growing children. For example, some children will only use their cleats or shin guards for one season only! After paying up to $50 for a pair of cleats, you are unlikely to find a parent who is going to just toss them in the trash. Some parents will attempt to recoup some of their money by listing soccer supplies and equipment on Craigslist. Moreover, some parents don't want to deal with the hassle of a deal seeking haggler; therefore, they opt to list them for free!

Exchanges: Many youth soccer associations understand that parents are deeply effected by the economy. That is why a growing number of groups have started equipment exchanges. This is most common with soccer cleats and shin guards. When a child outgrows their cleats and shin guards, they are then passed on to the coach. Those items are then up for grab for parents on a budget (free of charge).
